Kishore Biyani is restless when it means retail business. We first broke the news about Pantaloon and Future groups entry into Office Supplies retailing with Staples. Earlier in Nov-2006, Future group and Alpha Airports had won the bid to manage Delhi International Airport’s Food Business. Today the agreement was signed and Future Group and Alpha will be 50:50 partners in the venture.
Alpha Airports will launch restaurant brand belonging to Blue Foods – Bombay Blues and Noodles Bar. I am sure, Biyani will be planning to kick out restaurants running in his Central Malls and replace them with Blue Foods. It is well known fact that restaurants are the most busy place in Malls and Biyani wants a slice of this Pizza too 🙂
