Cavin Kare’s Trends in Vogue retail network of lifestyle Salon outlets is all set to add more salons. The company has two brands Green Trends and Limelite. Green Trends caters to the middle class, while Limelite caters to the elite class.
Currently the company has presence in Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi only. Bangalore has 3 Green Trends and 5 Limelite salons while Chennai has 20 Green Trends and 4 Limelite outlets. Delhi has only 2 Limelite salons. Each Green Trends is spread across 1500-2000 sft carpet area while Limelite occupies 2500-3500 sft. The company plans to launch new salons in Hyderabad and then in all tier-I cities. Green Trends will be opened in Tier-II cities.
Mr. C.K.Rangnathan, MD said,
We will open 16 more salons by the end of this year and will add another 100 next year. We plan to have atleast one salon in every 3 Km radius. The company is expected to pos ta turnover of Rs 23 crore next year.
Currently the organized market for salons in India is Rs 2500 crore [$600 mn] There are a large number of Indians who are willing to get a taste of these posh salons with their rising income levels.
